April has been a busy month at theWebShed, not only have we devoured our own body weight in chocolate we have also made some amazing changes to the platform! I have run through a couple of the key updates below;

Citations Auditor

We have improved the auditor for our citations, we are now grabbing, even more, data and filtering it in a more intelligent way. We have also updated the UI to make it easier for you to see what you need to update and what parts are fine.

Onsite

We went back to the drawing board with our onsite auditor, we wanted a crawler that could track changes to your website and automatically grab more data as the month progresses. There was nothing on the market so we built our own crawler. We have spent a long time filtering the results to remove any anomalies that may show to give you the best result possible.

Along with the standard content metrics like titles, meta descriptions and headings we are now pulling information about pages blocked by your robots.txt, pages missing from your sitemap and pages in your sitemap that return a non-200 status. Not only that we also pull data from the Google Page Speed Insights tool, so you can get accurate data on the performance of both your desktop and mobile sites.

Reputation

We have massively increased the reach of our reputation tool, we now pull in data from;

– Reviews.co.uk
– Trustpilot
– Yell
– Yelp
– Tripadvisor
– Reevoo
– Feefo

Get all of this information updated weekly directly into your account, you can get notifications directly into your inbox when your customers get new reviews keeping you in the know.

Keywords

Our keyword tracker has had an overhaul, we have added more data to the reports so that you can get even more insights into your website’s keyword performance. Your keywords are now split into groups, allowing you to get an overview of the performance of your campaign on a group level as well as an individual keyword level. We grab data from the Google Adwords API including, Competition, Cost per click, Search volume and a years view of monthly search data allowing you to see industry trends over the year.
